Assistant designer and drawing technician at Outside! Planning and Design Studio, Jamie's work in landscape architecture is supported by an extensive visual arts career. As a designer and instructor he has spent over twenty years making, critiquing and coordinating installations for public and private events, from commissions to permanent and temporal installations. His film history includes art direction, set decoration and production design for screen and television. As a fitness trainer he is keen about creating healthy, adaptable environments for activity and relaxation.
His design approach in landscape architecture is to convey multiple levels of meaning and to reveal things that connect people with one another and their surroundings, be it built urban environments or natural settings.
