We are passionate about creating vibrant urban areas that are functional, attractive, and sustainable for years to come. We want people to enjoy where they live, work and play.
Seven Lakes Community: We assisted the Penney Group with development approvals and prepared detailed drawing sets for tender. We designed the wetland restoration plan, developed the trail system, prepared the Landscape Master Plan and provide guidelines for native plantings.
Q Lofts: Located in Halifax's vibrant North End, this condominium project boasts an extensive terrace and street plantings. We developed a customized planter system for the roof terrace in keeping with the buildings' industrial cladding materials.
Brenton Street: An exciting mixed-use residential addition to the downtown core, this bold piece of urban architecture is a welcome addition to the Halifax skyline. We designed the public spaces to work with the subtle angles of the building façade. The space reflects a diverse group of users with outdoor spaces for exercise, entertaining and relaxation.
Dalhousie Fitness Centre: In association with local and national architects and engineers, we're creating a dynamic landscape plan to match the bold new building on South Street. The overall effect is both practical from a storm water management perspective and beautiful.
19Twenty: The original plant palette for this new terrace was understated and overrun with weeds in the first year. We redesigned the space adding an irrigation system, custom planters to create shade and new plants to add texture, colour and variety to the space.
Jane's & EDNA: Small spaces matter in the pedestrian realm. Adding year round planters brings life and colour back to the street.
